"6 months ago, I presented myself to the care of the Mater Private Hospital in Dublin.
At that moment, I was a little uncertain that my heart would see my 70th year.
Thanks to the surgeon, doctors, nurses, family and friends, here we are.
It feels like a new heart, a new year, and now a new decade!
As well as a new record.

I had never been really sick physically before.
The past 6 months I have been given a masterclass in human kindness, by many amazing people.
This record 'A SECOND WIND' is dedicated to them all.
